AFTERMATH OF A TRAFFIC RUN-IN

ROBERT KIRKHAM/Buffalo News

The driver of a car describes to police how a traffic-related argument on Parkside Avenue left one man injured today. The argument started when the driver above and another motorist nearly collided in front of a store at 281 Parkside. The other motorist got out of his pickup truck, which had struck a fence at the Buffalo Zoo while avoiding the car. When the motorist above refused to get out and tried to drive away, the other motorist jumped on the car's hood and punched a hole through the windshield. The car then struck another automobile traveling in the opposite direction. The injured motorist was taken by ambulance to an area hospital. None of the drivers involved was identified.
