5 RELOCATED AS FIRE STRIKES FALLS APARTMENT BUILDING

Red Cross personnel relocated seven people, including five children, who escaped from a burning apartment building at 1524 Willow Ave. late Monday, officials said.

Deputy Chief Robert Miller, who estimated $24,000 damage, said the cause is under investigation. He listed no injuries and identified Joseph Burtch of Hasting Avenue, Buffalo, as the owner of the four-apartment dwelling.

Those assisted were identified as Helen Walker and Valerie Crayton and her five children.
