Denny Laine, guitarist formerly with the Moody Blues and with Paul McCartney and Wings, has postponed his show Wednesday night in the Marquee at the Tralf. Ticket refunds can be obtained at point of purchase.

Roomful of Blues, the nine-piece, Rhode Island group ranked among the best club bands in the nation, plays Nietzsche's, 248 Allen St., at 10 p.m. Sunday.

The Silent Partners, Texas blues-rockers, return to Marshall's, 1678 Main St., at 11 p.m. Friday.

Tom Chapin, veteran singer-songwriter, brings his family-oriented concert to Marvel Theater at Fredonia State College at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

The Living End, San Francisco heavy metal rockers, roll into the Country Club Skyroom, 2186 Seneca St., at 11 p.m. Friday. Opening are Attakk and Nostradamus.

The Midnight Ramblers open a series of "Tribute Thursdays" at the Marquee at the Tralf with songs of the Rolling Stones at 10 p.m. Thursday.

Wayne Watson, the contemporary Christian singer, performs at 8 p.m. Thursday in The Chapel, 895 N. Forest Road, Amherst.

Upcoming concerts announced last week include comedian Andrew Dice Clay, Feb. 11 in Memorial Auditorium; the "official" Byrds, Feb. 4 in Mickey Rats City Club, and Wynton Marsalis, March 2 and 3 in the Marquee at the Tralf. Former Rolling Stone guitarist Mick Taylor's Feb. 14 appearance at the Marquee has been postponed until March.
