Goldhaber, local pollster and a faculty member in University at Buffalo department of communication, will speak after a luncheon for Buffalo Federation of Women's Clubs Thursday at 12:15 p.m. in Park Lane Restaurant. His topic will be "Toward the Third Millennium: The Communication Revolution." Albert D. Price, associate professor in UB School of Architecture, will speak on "Update Downtown: The Urban Design of Fountain Plaza." Jean McFarren will show slides and give a talk on "Alaska: The Last Frontier -- and More" during the morning session at 10:30 a.m. Hostesses will be Virginia Price, Virginia Jackson and Suzie Luksch.
A seat in Studio Arena Theatre purchased by the Women of Studio Arena Theatre will be dedicated to the late Harriet Wile Brock during the WSAT workshop Thursday at 11 a.m. in the theater. Blossom Cohan, theater liaison to the organization, will conduct the dedication to Mrs. Brock, a past president who was instrumental in starting the opening night dinner series and wrote the script for WSAT's Traveling Costume Show. Betty A. Maloney, a WSAT member and longtime friend of Mrs. Brock, will speak at the luncheon after the workshop.
