Jury selection began today in Richard Keuck's State Supreme Court murder and attempted-murder trial in the fatal shooting of the 4-year-old son of his girlfriend and the wounding of two others during an early morning shooting spree in their Town of Boston home.
Justice Frederick M. Marshall and attorneys began questioning prospective jurors.
Keuck, 36, is free on bail in the Aug. 30, 1988, death of Charles Gray, 4, and the attempted murder of Janet Tatar, now, 31, and her other son, Michael Cousins.
Michael, then 12, died in an unrelated accident months after the shooting incident. Ms. Tatar and Michael were both wounded in the early morning shooting spree at 7047 S. Abbott Road.
