A judge Tuesday reserved decision on attorney Thomas J. Eoannou's claim that University Heights rape suspect Michael Drozic Jr. was "steamrolled" into submitting to DNA testing last summer while he was jailed on other offenses.

Erie County Judge Michael L. D'Amico gave attorneys in the case three weeks to submit legal briefs on Drozic's bid to quash the scientific evidence, the only physical link between him and five sex attacks in Buffalo and the Town of Tonawanda.

Drozic, 24, an Amsterdam, N.Y., native, is jailed in Buffalo without bail on charges connected to five sex attacks between Oct. 19, 1987, and Jan. 14, 1988, a Town of Tonawanda house break-in and a lewdness incident in a Buffalo parking lot.
