The John E. Hayes Co. and Joseph H. Radder Marketing have entered into an agreement to share talents, resources and office space -- but executives said the arrangement stops short of a merger.
"This is not a merger," Hayes and Radder said in a prepared statement. "Each agency will maintain its independence and autonomy. This is simply an affiliation which will provide our clients with added depth in creativity, marketing, research, media planning and production services."
Both companies now are located in the Hayes facilities at 6569 Main St. in Williamsville.
The Hayes Co. reports $4 million in capitalized billings with clients in hight-tech, business-to-business, consumer and retail fields. It has been in business more than 30 years.
Radder was an executive of the former Comstock Advertising Inc. He founded Radder Marketing in 1985. The agency has about $1 million in capitalized billings. Clients include health-care, automotive, industrial and high-tech accounts.
