Funeral services for Caryl Poyfair, 76, formerly of Evans Street, a retired waitress at the UAW-CIO Club, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St. Burial will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.

The former Caryl Higgs died Saturday (May 27, 1989) in Lockport Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

She had been a resident of the Newfane Health Facility.

A member of Christ Episcopal Church, she was the widow of Louis Poyfair.

Surviving are her mother, Anna Higgs of Lyndonville; three brothers, George of Clearwater, Fla., Earl of Medina and Harold of Kittery, Maine; and five sisters, Alice Host and Jane Girard, both of Barker, Joyce Robinson and Sally Harrison, both of Lyndonville, and Donna Barber of Gasport.
