An arm bouquet of calla lilies was carried by Barbara Marie Blair when she became the bride of Kevin Patrick Hughes at 2 p.m. Saturday in Queen of Peace Catholic Church. The Rev. Bernard J. Czechowicz heard their vows.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Carol Fritton of Cheektowaga and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Jean Hughes of Buffalo and the late Donald Hughes. A reception was given in Kenmore Council, Knights of Columbus, clubhouse. The newly married couple will be at home in Buffalo.
Beaded Alencon lace was appliqued on the satin gown chosen by the bride. The elongated bodice was styled with a lace collar and pearl pendants on an illusion yoke and tapered sleeves. The gathered skirt terminated in a cathedral train and was bordered with matching beaded lace. A satin and pearl band held her fingertip veil.
