Kathryn Anne Whelan became the bride of Robert John Gall during a ceremony performed by the Rev. James W. Czerwinski at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard J. Whelan Jr. and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Gall, all of Buffalo. A reception was given in Iron Workers Hall before the newly married couple left for the Bahamas.
A satin gown decorated with sposabella embroidered appliques and seed pearls was chosen by the bride. The bodice was fashioned with a high collar on a sweetheart illusion yoke and Juliet sleeves. Embroidered scallops edged the hemline of the full skirt and chapel train. Her fingertip veil was held by a band of embroidered appliques, pearls and sequins with a silk floral and pearl cluster.
