A Papal Blessing was bestowed upon the marriage of Jeanne Mogavero and Scott Matthew Dillon when the couple exchanged nuptial vows Saturday at 4 p.m. in Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, Angola. Monsignor J. Grant Higgins performed the ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Mogavero, parents of the bride, are of Angola and the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James E. Dillon, are of Cheektowaga. A reception was given in Evans Center Fire Hall before the couple left for Virginia Beach, Va.
Sposabella embroidery with seed pearls decorated the bride's satin gown. The basque, with a peplum, was fashioned with a high collar on a sweetheart illusion yoke and net insets accented the Juliet sleeves. Panels of embroidery trimmed the skirt and embroidered scallops bordered the hemline and the cathedral train of ruffles. Matching beaded embroidery trimmed the crown of the hat that held her veil.
