Services for Mildred F. Schnapp, 83, a Buffalo native, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Carlton A. Ulrich Funeral Home, 3272 Bailey Ave. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park, North Tonawanda.
Mrs. Schnapp died Saturday (May 27, 1989) in Nazareth Nursing Home after a long illness.
She belonged to the Knox United Presbyterian Church in Kenmore and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church for more than 40 years.
For more than 25 years, she was a guild member and dedicated staff aide of the Niagara Lutheran Home, and was chairwoman of the American Red Cross bloodmobiles in Kenmore and the Town of Tonawanda. When her health failed, she began staffing the bloodmobiles.
Mrs. Schnapp was an honorary member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Kenmore Volunteer Fire Department.
She is survived by her son, Donald, three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
