At the wedding of Cheryl D. Crehan to David R. LaForest of Lexington Avenue at noon Saturday in Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo, the bride was given in marriage by her brothers, Mark V. and Vincent G. Crehan.
The Rev. Daniel E. Budd performed the ceremony. Mrs. Vincent F. Crehan of Ramona Street and the late Mr. Crehan are parents of the bride and Mr. and Mrs. G. Ronald LaForest of Pittsford are the bridegroom's parents. A reception was given in College Club of Buffalo.
Something borrowed in the bride's ensemble was the satin Juliet cap and floor-length veil worn by her sister, Gail C. Higgins, who was an attendant. The bride's satin gown was fashioned with a scoop neckline and poet sleeves. A ruffle edged the chapel train. She carried pink and white roses, carnations, and blue irises.
Margaret Battendfeld was matron of honor and the other attendant was Sharon O'Shaughnessy. They wore navy-blue linen tea-length dresses with floral print cummerbunds.
Pages were William M., Lauren A., Hillary S. and Mark K. Crehan and Matthew C. and Noelle C. Higgins, all nieces and nephews of the bride, and her godchild, Kerry Q. Battendfeld.
William LaForest of Pittsford was best man for his brother and John Milton of Rochester ushered.
