Buffalo Investors Group is moving its monthly meetings to the Hilton Hotel in downtown Buffalo.
"Our new location will make our monthly meetings much more convenient for many people," said William Lisnerski, president of the group.
Founded in 1978, B.I.G. has members from throughout the Western New York area, said Lisnerski. The group meets the last Wednesday evening of each month. Open to the public, B.I.G.'s next meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. Wed., May 31, at the Hilton.
"The Hotel offers a wonderful atmosphere and it will be much easier to reach for people living in outlying areas," said Lisnerski. "People living in Buffalo and in nearby suburbs will also find the Hilton much more convenient."
Located at 120 Church Street near the Skyway and access roads to and from the New York State Thruway and its Niagara extension, the Hilton will also provide free parking to members and guests at B.I.G. meetings. A free snack buffet will also be served at monthly meetings.
B.I.G. will also change its educational focus slightly in 1989, said Lisnerski. "Our emphasis will shift from programs to help the pure investor to programs to help the landlord-property owner become even more effective and successful with rental property."
A non-profit organization, B.I.G. offers members free monthly informational meetings and other programs and benefits. For more information, call 668-0094.
