Services for Lorna P. Taylor, 97, formerly of Maple Avenue, the oldest member of First Baptist Church, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, 2670 Main St. Burial will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.

The former Lorna Peaker died Tuesday (May 23, 1989) in Newfane Inter-Community Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

A native of Waterford, Ont., she worked for 15 years at the Harrison Radiator Division of General Motors Corp., retiring in 1968.

She was a longtime Newfane resident and a member of the Newfane Golden Agers.

She was the widow of Lester H. Taylor.

Survivors include two sons, LeRoy and Neil, both of Bradenton, Fla.; two daughters, Louise DesChamp of Bradenton and Jessie Voelker of Lockport; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren, and 26 great-great-grandchildren.
