Private services will be conducted for Dr. Everett H. Sugnet, a Buffalo dentist for 40 years. A memorial service will be scheduled later.

A Buffalo native, Sugnet, 84, died Monday (May 22, 1989) in his Syracuse home. He had moved there within the last two years.

A graduate of George Washington University, Washington D.C., and the University at Buffalo Dental School, he had practiced dentistry at Bailey and Kensington avenues for more than 40 years.

Sugnet was an avid horseman and fox hunt participant. He was a member of the Nakoma Club of Amherst, the Unitarian Universalist Churches of Buffalo and Amherst and the American, New York State and Erie County dental associations.

Survivors include his wife, the former Jeanette Valck; a son, William E. of Jamesville, and three grandchildren.
