MEDICAL WASTE WORKSHOP SET WEDNESDAY AT LIBRARY

A free public workshop on "Infectious Medical Waste" will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Earl W. Brydges Library, 1425 Main St., at Lockport Street, sponsored by the Niagara Falls Hazardous Materials Advisory Committee.

Robert Eagler, Occupational Health Niagara Services, and Walter Garrow, chief chemist, Niagara Falls Waste Water Treatment Plant, co-chairmen, urged government regulators, health care professional and community leaders to attend.

Speakers from the Niagara County Health Department, a major health facility and medical practitioners will discuss ways they handle and manage medical waste, the chairmen said.
