A Buffalo man was arrested and charged in connection with a Wednesday break-in at the home of Bishop Richard J. Malone of the Buffalo Catholic Diocese and the theft of his car, according to a tweet Thursday from the Buffalo Police Department.
The man was identified as Joshua Hobes, 20, in the Buffalo Police tweet.

Employees at a KeyBank at 800 Main St. in Niagara Falls reported an attempted break-in.
A bank worker told Niagara Falls police on Monday morning that over the weekend an unknown suspect damaged the glass door to the walk-in ATM area.
The safety glass was cracked, but remained intact and the suspect did not gain entry, police reported. Damage was estimated at $300.
A woman in the 700 block of LaSalle Avenue told Buffalo police on Saturday morning that sometime between midnight and 8:19 a.m., someone damaged the mirror on her vehicle and took cash and jewelry from her purse in the vehicle.
