Police reportedly have lifted a shelter-in-place alert that had been in effect for more than two hours in the area around the 900 block of Pletcher Road in Lewiston. Authorities were searching for a man believed to be armed and dangerous. A suspect was taken into custody sometime after 8 p.m.
