WASHINGTON — A close look at the delayed financial disclosure report of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton for 2007 should banish any lingering thoughts that she and the former president are distinct entities.

This is how change comes. This is how the revolution is won. It is won on the back of Ann Tworzydio, 65, who carried it door-to-door on a gimpy knee, walking as if her parts needed oil. It is fought in the heart of Tom Tworzydio, graying and nearing 70, his ropy forearms a legacy of years of driving a forklift in a Pepsi plant.

You’re a Bills fan; you’ve suffered plenty through the years. But you figured things were bound to even out this time. After that cruel, relentless run of misfortune a year ago, the team was due for some good luck. This year, the law of averages would come knocking at One Bills Drive. The Amherst Bridge Club at the Airport, 247 Cayuga Road, Cheektowaga, will hold an extra session to host the annual ACBL Instant Matchpoint Pairs game at 7 p.m. Thursday. The Bridge Center of Buffalo, 3362 Sheridan Drive at Sweet Home Road, Amherst, also will host the game, beginning at 7:15 p.m. after a free mini-lesson at 6:45. The Bridge Center will not hold a mentoring game Thursday.
