Charleigh Rondeau's two-goal performance helped lead CASH (Clarence/Amherst/Sweet Home) past Monsignor Martin in the Western New York Girls Varsity Ice Hockey Federation, 5-4 in overtime. Rondeau, the leading scorer in WNYGVIHF, scored the game-tying goal with under three minutes left in the game. She then scored the game-winning goal 18 seconds into the overtime period. Madison Achtyl and Emma Faso earned assists on the goal. Faso, the second-leading scorer in the federation, had a four-point night (one goal, three assists). Faso scored the first goal of the game before Monsignor Martin scored four unanswered goals. CASH (24.5 points) is now half a point out of first place after FLOP (Frontier/Lake Shore/Orchard Park) tied with HEWS (Hamburg/Eden/West Seneca), 1-1.
