Tonawanda woman accused of switchblade attack on Buffalo's West Side

A Town of Tonawanda woman was accused Sunday of attacking a West Seneca woman with a switchblade, according to a Buffalo police report.

The victim was slashed in the leg and the back of the head on Potomac Avenue, between Hoyt and Baynes streets, on the city's West Side. The victim was taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center for treatment, according to the report.

Dawn S. Graham, 47, of Blackmore Road, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. on the same block of Potomac where the alleged attack occurred. Graham was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Police did not recover the weapon used.
