Garden Notes: It's garden walk planning time. Believe it!

Lewiston GardenFest is accepting applications from vendors as well as local residents interested in showcasing their gardens during this year’s event, 10 a. to 5 p.m. June 16-17. Go online for details and to download applications. Application deadline for vendors is May 1. The application deadline for residents to participate in open gardens is May 5. GardenFest is presented by the Lewiston Garden Club.

Buzz Around Hamburg Garden Walk planners are recruiting volunteers to sit on the planning committee and gardeners to participate in the garden walk, July 14-15. For information, call 648-7544 or 648-4357.

Garden Walk Buffalo invites gardeners from the Peace Bridge to Main Street and from Canalside to the Scajaquada Expressway (Route 198) to be part of the 2018 Garden Walk Buffalo, July 28-29. Enter online by May 14.

Federated Holland Garden Club will meet at 11 a.m. April 18 at the Brink Memorial Community Center, Legion Drive, Holland. Following a business meeting and luncheon, Mary Brummer will present a program, “Interpretation of Our Flower Show.”

Cinderella Isle Garden Club will hold its installation dinner at 6 p.m. April 19 at Brookfield Country Club, 5120 Shimerville Road, Clarence. A program presented by Denise Reichard will follow. For information, call Julie Furminger at 833-3899.
