Joywave to bring good-time vibe to Town

Rochester's Joywave has taken its danceable-but-eclectic alt-pop-indie hybrid from Western New York clubs to major stages – Indio, California's Coachella Festival and Chicago's Lollapalooza, for example – in less than a decade as an entity. Along the way, the band - singer Daniel Armbruster, guitarist Joseph Morinelli, drummer Paul Brenner, bassist Jeremiah Crespo, and keyboardist Benjamin Bailey - has managed to delve into arty experimentation without losing any of its affable, good-time, party vibe. The band plays the Town Ballroom (681 Main St.) at 7 p.m. on March 7. ($17-$20; Ticketfly, box office)
