Adrion V. McLaurin was already under arrest Saturday when his real problems started, according to Buffalo police.
While at Central Booking, McLaurin, 41, of Gillette Street, became belligerent with cellblock attendants and, after his handcuffs were removed, punched one of them several times in the face, police said.
Officers said he also bit another attendant, causing bleeding to one of the attendant's fingers.
The incident, according to a police report, happened after McLaurin refused to provide identification while buying an alcoholic beverage at a North Buffalo convenience store at about 2:45 a.m. Saturday, and knocked over a plastic lottery dispenser when the cashier refused him service.
Police said he also made threats to the cashier.
McLaurin is charged with assaulting a police officer, harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.
