Kids and adults inspired by the PyeongChang Olympics can take a free learn-to-skate class Sunday evening at the North Buffalo Rink, 158 Tacoma Ave.
The lessons are part of an open house from 7 to 8 p.m. at the rink. Skaters age 3 and up can take part, with free rental skates available for those who need them. No skating experience is required, but registration is encouraged at northbuffalorink.com.
The rink regularly is home to the Learn to Skate USA program, offering paid classes for those wanting to try figure skating, hockey and speed skating.
