Medical emergency causes driver to crash into Lancaster house

A driver apparently suffered a medical emergency causing him to crash into a house on Broadway in Lancaster on Tuesday, according to police.

The crash happened at about 12:45 p.m. near Grafton Court. The driver, identified only as a 40-year-old man, was transported to Erie County Medical Center by ambulance, Lancaster police said.

No one was in the house at the time, but utilities had to be shut off.

The driver's condition was not known Thursday morning.
