A North Tonawanda man faces five felonies, including two felony sex charges, and police are trying to determine whether the accused man may have attacked others.
Edward Lockwood, 56, of Schenck Street, was arrested Monday on charges of first-degree criminal sexual act, first-degree sexual abuse and three counts of second-degree unlawful surveillance, police said Tuesday.
"The investigation is ongoing as we believe there are other potential victims," North Tonawanda police said in a news release.
The alleged crimes happened in January in Lockwood's Schenck Street apartment, according to police. The victim in this case was an adult female.
Police ask anyone who may have been a victim of Lockwood or who has any other information to call Detective Michelle Day at 692-4317 or the detective bureau at 692-4312.
Lockwood was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in North Tonawanda City Court.
