A crash is causing heavy traffic delays on the I-190 South heading towards downtown Buffalo, according to the Niagara International Transportation Technology Coalition.
Motorists are backed up from the area near the Peace Bridge all the way back to the I-290 in the Town of Tonawanda. A crash with injuries was reported between the Scajaquada Expressway and Peace Bridge exits, according to the Thruway Authority. Those are exits 11 and 9, respectively.
No further details were immediately available about the crash, a State Police spokesman said.

A crash on the inbound Kensington Expressway near the Scajaquada Expressway has drivers backed up to the I-90 interchange, according to NITTEC.
The crash was blocking the left lane, but the lane reopened at about 8:30 a.m., according to NITTEC.
