O.A.R., Matt Nathanson to serenade Artpark

Rock band O.A.R. has been a hit in its annual Buffalo-area stop for years, and the Maryland group has planned another summer visit.

O.A.R. and Matt Nathanson are slated to perform at 6 p.m. Aug. 22 as part of Artpark's Coors Light Concerts, in the outdoor amphitheater (450 S. 4th St., Lewiston).

Tickets go on sale at noon Feb. 16 at tickets.com and artpark.net, by phone at 1-888-223-6000 or in person at the Artpark box office, which is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, closed Feb. 19.

Advance general admission tickets cost $42, while advance lawn seats will be available for $14. The listed ticket prices include a $2 facility fee and an additional $.50 per ticket charity fee applies to all orders; additional service fees apply for online and phone orders.

Primus and Mastodon, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, The Head and the Heart and Portugal. The Man are the previous Coors Light Concerts announcements for this spring and summer.

While O.A.R. - the abbreviation for Of A Revolution - has not released a new album since 2014, the band continues to tour aggressively and tease new music. In tandem with its summer touring slate, Marc Roberge and friends slipped in a new single, the tropical "Just Like Paradise."
