The Bills have hired Shea Tierney as an offensive assistant, according to the team website.
Tierney is the third member of the Crimson Tide staff joining the Bills along with offensive coordinator Brian Daboll and analyst William Vlachos. Vlachos and Tierney will have similar roles; offensive assistant is generally an entry-level NFL position.
Tierney has been at Alabama since 2016. He previously worked for the Philadelphia Eagles, spending four years in the NFL as an intern coach, coach and working in the front office.
Tierney worked closely with Daboll and Mike Locksley, who worked under Daboll and has since been named as his replacement.
