Portugal. The Man, one of the better music stories of 2017, will continue to ride its new success into Lewiston this summer with a performance at 5 p.m. Aug. 1 in the Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater (450 S. 4th St., Lewiston).
The Alaska-based experimental pop outfit has been paying its dues since sharing the debut album "Waiter: "You Vultures!" back in 2006.
Last year, the band found a much wider audience with the release of "Woodstock," particularly due to the peppy breakthrough single "Still Feel It." The track became an alternative radio staple and would won a Grammy for best pop duo/group performance at the 2018 award ceremony.
Advance tickets are $42 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 9 through the venue's box office, Tickets.com, Artpark.net or charge by phone at 888-223-6000.
