Police officers injured in Kensington crash treated and released from ECMC

Two Buffalo Police officers injured Monday after a vehicle rear-ended a patrol car parked on the side of the Kensington Expressway were both treated at Erie County Medical Center and released, according to a Buffalo Police spokesman.

The crash happened at around 10:30 a.m. on the westbound Kensington, near the Scajaquada Expressway, where two patrol vehicles were stopped to assist with traffic related to an earlier accident, Buffalo Police said.

A vehicle rear-ended one of the patrol cars, forcing it into a second police vehicle. Both patrol cars were occupied.
