What's next on the NFL calendar after the Super Bowl?

The Super Bowl means the end of football by NFL players for now, but there is still plenty happening in the offseason. Here is a look at key dates:

Feb. 20: First day for teams to designate franchise or transition players; deadlines is March 6 at 4 p.m. EST.

Feb. 27-March 5: Scouting combine in Indianapolis

March 12-14: Legal tampering/contract period to negotiate with free agents. Contracts cannot be signed until March 14.

March 14: New league year begins at 4 p.m. EST, meaning free agency begins and trades can be made official

March 25-28: League meeting in Orlando

April 16: Offseason workout program begins for teams that do not have new coaches

April 18: Draft prospects visits allowed

April 20: Deadline for restricted free agents to sign offer sheets

April 26-28: NFL draft in Dallas

May 14: Rookie camps

May 21-23: Spring league meeting in Atlanta

June: OTAs and minicamps
