A fast-growing Rochester-based marketing communications firm is expanding its downtown Buffalo presence with a new office on Delaware Avenue after outgrowing its initial location.
Tipping Point Communications, a women-owned firm founded in 2005, entered the Buffalo market two years ago with an office at the Thomas R. Beecher Innovation Center. But it doubled its local revenues and grew its client base by 60 percent from a year ago, and CEO Michelle Ashby expects to grow further over the next 18 to 24 months, including by adding five new jobs.
So the company decided it needed more space, and will be relocating to a suite at 737 Delaware Ave., where it hopes to open in April after investing $100,000 to renovate the 3,500-square-foot office.
Tipping Point specializes in media planning and buying, qualitative research through focus groups, digital media, public relations, crisis communications, and digital strategy. Local clients include the Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park, the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy, Admar, Anchor Bar Distributing Co., Connors & Ferris L.L.P, and Darien Lake Theme Park & Resort. The agency is also seeking partnership and expansion opportunities.
