Letters: Don’t bring sick children to a high school musical

I recently went to one of the local schools in the Southtowns for its musical with my 6-year-old granddaughter. Unfortunately, sitting behind us were two very sick children. For two hours, we had these children coughing on the back of our heads.

Why were they brought to this production? Why weren’t they taken out of the auditorium? One was little and totally uninterested as he was coughing and kicking the back of our seat. The other could not have cared less, either. They totally ruined this wonderful production for me.

Now I have to worry about my granddaughter getting ill. Thank you, ladies. I hope you enjoyed the show. And this is how the flu is spread by people with no common sense.
