Undercover prostitution sting in Lancaster ends with two arrests

Lancaster police made two prostitution arrests last week at a hotel and a motel near the Thruway.

Both arrests were made after undercover officers responded to internet ads for prostitution, said Lancaster Police Capt. William J. Karn Jr.

Savannah Lambert, 24, of Buffalo, was arrested on a misdemeanor prostitution charge shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday at the Red Roof Inn, 146 Maple Drive, according to police. Lambert was on parole, having been released from prison in December following a first-degree robbery conviction, Karn said.

A 17-year-old Buffalo girl also was arrested on a misdemeanor prostitution charge about 10 p.m. Thursday at Salvatore's Grand Hotel, 6675 Transit Road, police said. Police withheld the girl's name due to her age, including her eligibility to be granted youthful offender status.
