N. Tonawanda mayor will host Charity Snowflake Ball on Feb. 17

NORTH TONAWANDA – North Tonawanda Mayor Arthur G. Pappas and his wife, Linda, have announced that the Eighth Annual Mayor’s Charity Snowflake Ball is planned for Feb. 17 at a new location, the Gratwick Banquet Hall, 110 Ward Road, North Tonawanda.

The evening’s designated local charity is the Boys and Girls Club.

The club benefits more than 3,500 youth in Erie and Niagara County and operates at a number of different sites in the Tonawandas, including Spruce School, Drake School and the North Tonawanda Middle School in North Tonawanda, and the Newman Family Club, Fletcher School and Tonawanda Middle School in Tonawanda. Summer camp is offered at Camp Spirit in North Tonawanda, as well.

The event features music, cocktails and food, mainly donated by local restaurants. Reservations and donations may be made by calling Pappas’ office at 695-8540.
