Niagara Falls man charged with menacing bartender with knife

Niagara Falls police charged a man with second-degree menacing Saturday morning, saying he threatened to stab a bartender at a Niagara Street establishment.

The man entered Cocktail Bob's around 2 a.m. and repeatedly asked the bartender to call a man, according to police reports. The customer became irate, pulling out a knife and threatening to stab her, when she did not place a call.

Officers found Donald P. Harris, 52, of Ferry Avenue, Niagara Falls, lying on the ground in front of the business and charged him, police said.
