Ladies of Charity collecting linens for people in need

Ladies of Charity of Catholic Charities is collecting new and gently used linens in the Kenmore and Town of Tonawanda area to give a fresh start to people starting anew after being homeless, displaced by a fire or leaving a domestic violence situation.

"Fresh start" packages contain basic household items.

Collection sites are at the Kenmore Volunteer Fire Department, St. Paul's, St. Andrew's, St. Timothy's and St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic churches in Kenmore and Tonawanda and at the Knights of Columbus of Kenmore.

In addition, a collection barrel will also be at the Sheridan Park Fire Hall during its fish fry in February and March.
