A 29-year-old Grand Island man who apparently was driving under the influence of drugs crashed his car into a parked car and a garage at Forest and Parkdale avenues Saturday afternoon.
Buffalo Police reported that the driver, whose name was not released, lost control of his auto about 1:15 p.m. as he was heading west on Forest. After striking the parked car, the man's vehicle crashed into a garage on Parkdale, damaging a vehicle parked inside the building.
Buffalo firefighters administered the opiate antidote Narcan to the driver, who then was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment.
A statement by Buffalo police said no charges have been filed so far.
