It happened again on Niagara Avenue, where a man told Niagara Falls Police that he drunkenly slept through another burglary Saturday, after having done so twice the previous weekend.
The man told police that his security cameras captured what appeared to be a pair of women breaking into his home around 4:38 a.m. Saturday. The glass was removed from a freshly installed front window that still had uncured putty in place, according to reports. The intruders proceeded to steal a wallet containing about 20 credit cards, one of which was denied in a transaction attempt at a Hyde Park Boulevard business about an hour later.
The wallet had been removed from a jacket in the living room area of the home. Police said that narcotic pain medication sitting nearby was untouched, as were other credit cards and financial data that had been left on a dining room table.
The break-in was the third reported at the home in a space of eight days, police confirmed.
