Falls schools offer dozens of adult ed classes at 4 sites

A wide variety of adult education classes, from Italian cooking to decorating Ukranian Easter eggs, are planned at four different Niagara Falls School District locations in the upcoming weeks.

The catalog includes 76 classes and four travel opportunities, plus a registration form.

Classes will be held at Niagara Falls High School, 4455 Porter Road; the Administration Building, 630 66th St.; LaSalle Prep School, 7436 Buffalo Ave.; and the Community Education Center,  6040 Lindbergh Ave.

Some classes begin in February, while others don’t start until April. Participants must be 18.

“Most people in our community do not have children in the schools,” Niagara Falls Schools Superintendent Mark Laurrie said. “But the schools belong to everyone.”

Residents who have not received a catalogue by mail, as well as non-residents, may visit the Central Office, 630 66th St., or call 286-4245, to obtain one.
