Gunman robs Rite Aid in Riverside

A man with a gun robbed a Rite Aid store in Buffalo's Riverside neighborhood on Tuesday night, according to a Buffalo police report.

The robber approached an employee at the register of the Tonawanda Street store at 6:42 p.m and lifted his shirt to reveal the handle of what appeared to be a gun in his waistband, according to the report.

The suspect, who wore a mask covering the lower half of his face, fled on food heading north on Tonawanda, according to the report.

The robbery happened just up the block on Tonawanda Street from a Dollar General that's been robbed twice in a week.
