Dave Matthews Band returns to Darien Lake

It's time to dig out your Birkenstocks. Dave Matthews Band returns for a concert at 8 p.m. June 27 in the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center (9993 Alleghany Road, Darien Center).

After taking a year off, the long-time road warriors will be returning to the stage with a string of dates in support of the group's untitled new album, set to be released sometime this summer. It's the follow-up to 2012's "Away From the World."

DMB recently reentered the pop culture lexicon as the band's 1996 single "Crash Into Me" was prominently featured in Greta Gerwig's acclaimed film "Lady Bird."

Tickets are $85 and $115 for reserved seats and $45.50 for lawn tickets, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 2 (box office, Live Nation, Ticketmaster or charge by phone at 800-745-3000). All paid tickets include free admission to the Darien Lake theme park  on the day of the concert, as well as a physical copy or digital download of the band's new album.
