The State Police have identified the teenager killed in a crash Sunday in Elma as Rachel E. LoFaso, an Iroquois High School student.
LoFaso was a passenger in a westbound vehicle that crossed into oncoming traffic in the 1600 block of Bullis Road and was struck by an SUV at about 11:15 a.m., according to police. She taken to South Buffalo Mercy Hospital where she was pronounced dead, troopers said.
Police have not said what may have caused the vehicle to cross into the oncoming lane.
Four others were injured in the collision, though none of their injuries were considered life-threatening. Troopers did not disclose any specific information about the injuries, but said they varied in severity.
Police also have not released the names of either driver or any other passengers.
The collision remains under investigation, troopers said.
