2017 All-WNY boys volleyball first team

OH Troy Gooch, Canisius, 12, Third-year starter and Monsignor Martin Player of the Year earned all-tournament honors five times, recording 569 kills and 62 aces.

OH Drew Hesse, Eden, 12, Two-year starter earned all-tournament honors in several events, including the New York State Public High Schools Athletic Association championships.

OH Collin Rigley, Eden, 12, Fourth-year starter and repeat All-WNY first-team honoree earned MVP honors at the state tournament for the Red Raiders.

S Marc Bixby, Lockport, 12, Credits teammates for all he accomplished, finished with 350 assists and 95 digs for the Lions.

MB Jesse Donorovich, Lockport, 12, Three-year starter  finished with 147 digs, 135 kills, 52 blocks and 32 aces for team that won all but two matches.

OH Zach Schneider, Lockport, 11, Excluding tournaments, Schneider finished with 230 kills, 52 aces, 140 digs and 32 blocks for the Section VI Division I champs.

OH Jordan Nosal, Maryvale, 12, Five-year starter finishes as Flyers' all-time leader in kills and also led team in digs and aces.

OH Campbell Schoenfeld, Starpoint, 12, Fourth-year starter with a 98 average earned all-tournament honors at Lockport and Grand Island. The 6-7 talent is heading to Harvard.
