The WNY Peace Center is organizing a bus trip to Seneca Falls on Jan. 20 and a march in downtown Buffalo on Jan. 21 to mark the first anniversary of the historic Women's Marches held throughout the U.S. on the day after President Donald J. Trump took office.
The #STILLRESISTING bus to Seneca Falls leaves at 7 a.m. Jan. 20 from the University at Buffalo South Campus Park & Ride and will return at 6 p.m. Seats are $34 per person, plus a tip for the driver. Also on Jan. 20, a nonviolence vigil dubbed "Women in Black" is scheduled for noon at Bidwell Parkway and Elmwood Avenue.
At 2:30 p.m. Jan. 21, a Women's Solidarity March is scheduled for downtown Buffalo starting at City Hall.
