Sanitation pickup in Buffalo was suspended Saturday afternoon due to the extreme cold weather. The service already was delayed one day because of the New Year's holiday on Monday.
Pick-up will resume Monday in the Delaware and North Districts, according to a city spokesman, with the schedule once again delayed one day in other districts for the remainder of the week, as it was during the two previous holiday weeks.
However, recycling pick-up will be on a normal schedule. That means that recycling will be picked up Monday in the South District, and in other districts on their regular collection days.
