1. Tampa Bay Lightning.  Even in defeat, Vasilevskiy impressive with 37 saves vs. Habs. (1)

2. Vegas Golden Knights.  Won in Chicago a night after eight-game winning streak ended in St. Louis. (2)

3. Winnipeg Jets. Speedy lineup was a tough matchup for Sabres.  (8)

4. St. Louis Blues.  Schenn makes emotional return to Philly. (9)

5. Washington Capitals.  Ovechkin collects 100th GWG, closing in on 500th assist. (6)

6. Los Angeles Kings.  Just 4-4-2 in current 10-game stretch. (5)

7. Boston Bruins.  A 16-3-2 hot streak has them pushing Leafs hard for second in Atlantic. (11)

8.  Toronto Maple Leafs.  Are desperate to add a veteran D-man at or prior to trade deadline. (7)

9. New Jersey Devils.  Key goals wiped out by toenail challenges in losses to Sabres and Blues.  (3)

10. Nashville Predators.  Just two wins in eight games and now Forsberg is out 4-6 weeks. (4)
